George R. Cole Nov. 23, 1927 - May 22, 1995, George Richard "Dick" COLE, 67, 2175 Newcut Road, Alvaton, Ky., died at 5:20 p.m. Monday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in Converse to Jesse L. and Minnie PARSON COLE. On May 17, 1976 in Andrews he married Patricia A. COLE, who survives. He worked for 26 years at Honeywell Corporation and at Jack Cross Ford, Wabash. He retired from Dornis Chevrolet, Wabash. He was a member of the Denver Saddle Club and the Diamond X Trail Riders. Surviving with his wife are six daughters, Mrs. Mike (Sherry) FULK, Duluth, Ga.; Mrs. Tom (Christine) SANDERS, Water Haven, Fla.; Mrs. Joe (Vicky) FORNITO, Clearwater, Fla.; Mrs. Tim (Gerri) HORN, and Mrs. Charles (Wendy) WATTS, both of Denver, and Dianna COLE, Melbourne, Fla.; two sons, Mark [COLE], Baxley, Ga.., and Jeff [COLE], Mexico; and five sisters, Mrs. Joe (Beulah) McCOMBS, Mrs. Leroy (Helen) BAKEHORN, and Mrs. Jerry (Carol Jody) HAAG, all of Wabash; Mrs. Bert (Mary) COCHERN, Warsaw, and Mrs. Harvey (Nancy) WATKINS, LaFontaine. Preceding in death were one sister, Lois BEHNEY, and one brother, Jack Frederick [COLE]. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with the Rev. Lowell BURRUS officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. today.
