Ruvio was born Jan. 27, 1926, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Frank Ruvio and Betty Elizabeth Smith Ruvio. He married Carol J. Robinson on March 24, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nev. She preceded him in death.
He served in the U.S. Navy for almost 23 years, attaining the rank of chief boilerman.
His wife and parents preceded him in death."
