New York State Senator representing 51st D from 1915 till his death & was sitting on the 138th & 139th New York State Legistures. & an Attorney in partnership with his older brother NYS Appellate Judge Alfred Spring (1851-1912)in Franklinville, NY

1893 History of Cattaraugus County, NY, page 401 & 409:
George E. Spring was born in Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, NY on 10/27/1859 and attended Ten Broeck Academy and graduated there in 1880. He studied Law with his brother Alfred Spring and was admitted into the Law Bar in Rochester, NY in 10/1884. He & his brother Alfred were in partnership. Alfred became a Surrogate & George was a Clerk to the Surrogate Court.

His wife was Rena(Irene) F. Allen(1861-1943) from Machias, NY

Their Child:
1. Harold Spring (1890 - 1986)married
