Rev. John H. Buckley was born in Drumtariff, County Cork, Ire per his batismal records to Willam and Mary Reardon Buckley.
John died in Omaha, Neb. due to complications of surgery.
He & Ruth Marshall were married Apr. 8, 1877 in Cordova, Rock Is. Co., Illinois. John was educated as a Baptist minister / missionary and with assignment out of Omaha Nebraska. He was a member of the Missionaries of American Sunday School Union and a circuit rider at one time serving several small out lying churches. Ruth was educated as a nurse.
