MANSFIELD - Freddie Mac Lynch, 64, a retired parts manager for Vandergriff Chevrolet and Buick, died Saturday, July 12, 1997, in Mansfield.
Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Moore Funeral Home. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens, Garden of Valor. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Rev. Charles Hundley will officiate.
Mr. Lynch was born Dec. 18, 1932, in Corsicana.
He graduated from Arlington High School in 1952, and served in the Army during the Korean War. Freddie will be best remembered for his even temperment his quick, dry sense of humor and his love of his family and friends.
He retired from Vandergriff Chevrolet and Buick after 30 years of dedicated service. He was parts manager for more than 25 years.
The family of Freddie Mac Lynch said their goodbyes at his bedside on Saturday at 1 p.m. We are comforted that his suffering is over and that he rests in peace with our Lord.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nadine Lynch.
Survivors: Wife of 33 years, Jerry Lynch; sons, Freddie Michael Lynch and his wife, Kristi, Cary Lynch; daughters, Karen Carpenter, Jana Collins and her husband, Jim, Lisa Lynch; sister, Claudine Garrett and her husband, Eddie Joe; 14 grandchildren; step-children, Sharon Curtis, Shelly Uggen and her husband, Willis, Sandra Brown and her husband, Howard, Elayne Anderson; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
