Mrs. Emma K. Rosenberger, 92, 126 N. Broad St., died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday in her home. She was the widow of Edward Rosenberger, who died in February 1961. She was in failing health for three years and critically ill for two weeks.
Born at Blue Rock Feb. 8, 1884, Mrs. Rosenberger was a daughter of David and Alice (Gossert) Mentzer. She was a member of the Otterbein United Brethren Church, Ladies Bible Class, the Missionary Association and Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are five sons and daughters; Mrs. Hazel Keckler, Mrs.. Rhoda Bishop, Mrs. Frank E. Rosenberger and Eugene T. Rosenberger, all of Waynesboro, and Mrs. Ethel Rines, Chambersburg; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Grove Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Wilbur Sites. Burial will be in Burns Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home one hour before the service Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Otterbein United Brethren Church.
