A memorial service for Dorothy E. Brown will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church in Kenton by Pastor Peter Paige.
Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Rock Hill Cemetery in Flushing by Pastor Paige.
There will be no visitation.
She died at 12:31 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
She was born July 10, 1922 to James Arthur and Mary Lucinda (Douglas) Anderson. On June 6, 1947, she married Robert W. Brown, who preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 1980.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Lawson (Cheri) Brown of Mesa, Ariz., and Roger Dale (Denise) Brown of Gurnee, Ill.; six grandchildren, Aaron and Ashley of Illinois and Ryan, Morgan, Jayme and Lacy, all of Arizona; 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Bernice Tomer of Holloway.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Anderson, Dale Anderson and Walter Anderson and a sister, Irma Sebok.
She was a retired employee of Kenton Savings Bank, Banc Ohio and National City Bank.
She was a graduate of Holloway High School and member of the First United Methodist Church since 1954. She was a member of the Deborah Circle of the church and the Hardin Northern Garden Club.
