Tandy Lee Epps,67,406 First st. died last night at the moore Hospital in Benton,following an illness of four weeks.Mr.Epps a resident of franklin county for 40 years was janitor at the Capitol Theater.He was a member of the First Baptist Church,the Odd Fellows at Whittington and Encampment at Benton and Modern Woodman lodge.He leaves his wife Faye Durham Epps;two children Wilma Mallory,Highland Park Ill.,and Virginia Holman,Alton and three grandchildren,Alan,Gary,and Jill Holman of Alton.He also leaves the following brothers and sisters:Elbert Epps, Connersville,Ind; Moyer Epps Connersville; Mary Bosch Falls Church,Virginia and Ida P.Smith and Lillie Walter,Edwardsville.Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the First Baptist Church with Rev.A.V.Lawson officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows cemetery.The body will lie in state at the Freeman Funeral Home.
