Mrs. Emma K. Willsey, widow of M. E. Willsey, formerly a well-known resident of Candor, died on Sunday morning, July 9, at her home, 133 Leroy street, Binghamton, aged 76 years. Her funeral was held at the house on Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Carl A. Kallagren officiating. The burial was in Maple grove cemetery at Candor. Mrs. Willsey was a daughter of David P. and Mary (Green) Mead, and was born at Mottville, Onondaga county. She leaves one son, G. Mead Willsey, a prominent attorney, of Binghamton, and one daughter, Mrs. Helene W. Moree, also of that city. She was a sister of Hon. Howard J. Mead, late of this village.
