She was born in Bluffton, a daughter of G. William Fisher and Ermadean Elliott Bales. Her father survives in Marion and mother survives in Franklin. She was a 1970 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School, received her BSBA in 1991 from the Indiana Institute of Technology and her MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University in 1995.
She was an active member of White River Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and played clarinet in the Praise Band. She was the children's leader for Bible study fellowship. She also took various missions trips, including to Zambia, Africa; Pskov, Russia; and San Cristobal, Guatemala.
She taught business courses at various colleges in Indiana and was a registered investment adviser and team leader for systems analysis. She was an independent financial professional consultant, holding various financial positions at manufacturing companies in Indiana. She ended her career as corporate controller at INTAT Precision, Rushville.
Also surviving are brothers, Leondis Fisher, New Castle, and Murry Fisher, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are at 3 p.m. Sunday in White River Baptist Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mooreland Cemetery.
