Helen Mae (Allsup) Milligan, 80, of Washington, Ill., died at 5:08 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at her residence in Washington.

Born on June 3, 1932, in Peoria, Ill., to Lester R. and Vivian Lehmann Allsup, she married Charles C. Milligan Sr. on June 10, 1950, in Peoria, Ill. He preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 2006, in Peoria.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Helen retired from District No. 50 John L. Hensey Elementary School in Washington in 1987, where she was the head cook for many years.

She was a devoted member of Greater Pekin First United Pentecostal Church. Helen previously attended the Apostolic Pentecostal Church on Prospect in Peoria Heights, where she taught Sunday school, and always had a part in the church fundraisers.

Helen enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Cubs baseball fan.
