Mrs. Mardgre Coleman, 40, of 319 West Jackson Avenue, died this morning at a local hospital following an illness of a week. She was born on April 8, 1903, at Hot Springs, Ark., and had lived here for 19 years. Funeral services are to be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Assembly of God Church. Rev. L. H. Arnold will officiate. Burial is to be in North McAlester Cemetery, under the direction of the Humphrey Funeral Home. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband, James Coleman; one daugher, Miss Mardgre Louise Coleman; four sons, Melvin Coleman, who is in the U.S. Military Service, James Coleman, Carroll Coleman, and John Finis Coleman, all of McAlester; one sister, Mrs. Letha Lollar of Modessa, Calif.; two brothers, Carroll J. Hodges, Salinas, Calif., and Frank A. Hodges, Marion, Ind.
