For those who knew Chuck, he was a wonderful person to be around. He always had an ear to listen. Always had good advise and life experiences to share with anyone who would listen. He was a great man with the kids he mentored at Lincoln High School. He never put them down or tell them anything negative. He would always find the good in the kids and help them work on making themselves better. He will be missed by everyone who's life he touch. In memory of him I will celebrate his long life with happiness for I know he would not want tears of sadness, but tears of joy for all he accomplished in his 81 years.

Chuck was born May 9, 1931 in Kearney, Nebraska to Leslie and Jennie Allen. He graduated from Lexington High School in Nebraska and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree in Economics from Hastings College. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1949 to 1959.
