Thursday of last week while Philip Weber Sr, of Lewisville was felling some timber, he met with an accident that resulted in his death. He had placed a prop between two trees and when the tree that was being cut commenced to fall the pressure was so great that it caused the prop to break, one end of which struck Mr Weber on the right temple inflicting a wound from which he died about 8 o'clock the same evening. Mr Weber was a well respected citizen and his many friends have the sympathy of the entire community.
