Husband, Father, and Grandfather Howard "Larry" Oler Lawrence was born October 2, 1932 the youngest of ten children in American Falls, Idaho to George and Pearl Lawrence. He grew up on a potato farm during the depression. He graduated from University of Utah where he learned his love for education and enjoyed drawing comics for the school paper. He proudly served in the US Air Force as 2nd Lt. He was a navigator on C-118 and flew all over the world. He served an LDS mission in Northern Germany. He married Lynda Christine Pennington on March 29, 1982 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Larry was a fun loving man that will be remembered for his quirky sense of humor, story telling abilities, and artistic talents.
Larry is survived by his wife Chris, children; Gary Harris, Debbie Feldman, Jon Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence, and 9 grandchildren with twins coming.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 So. Camp Williams Rd. www.broomheadfuneralhome.com
