"Mr. Hildred Robinson [sic] Atkinson, 70
Services for Mr. Hildred Robinson [sic] Atkinson, 70, of Centervile, who died in a fire at his home on Friday, February 12, 1993, were held on Sunday, February 14 at McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville.
The service was conducted by Bros. Roger Banks and Jimmy Garner, and followed by burial in Milan Cemetery in Centerville.
A native of Pleasantville, Mr. Atkinson was the husband of Thelma Durham Atkinson, and the son of the late Daniel R. and Nancy Mitchell Atkionson. He was a retired emergency dispatcher for the Town of Centerville and Hickman County, and a veteran of the U. S. Army who served in World War II.
In addition to his wife he leaves two daughters, Patricia Bowman of Nunnelly and Manetta Kay Atkinson of Centerville; five sons, Daniel B. Atkinson of Hohenwald, and Johnnie L. Atkinson. Ricky W. Atkinson, Robert O. Atkinson and James L. Atkinson, all of Centerville, 13 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren." (end transcription - hmh
