Sarah (Tucker) Parker. Born in NJ, her parents were Samuel & Patty Tucker, they came form Holland.
On Jan. 27, 1794 Sarah Married Jonathan Parker in Union, Sommerset County N.J. They moved to Romulus, Seneca Co; NY with his family, where Jonathan Parker died in 1817.

Jonathan, born 29 Oct 1770 in Sommerset County, NJ and died 14 Apr 1817 in Romulus, seneca County, NY. He worked as a carpenter. Jonathan's parents were Jude and Patience Parker and they died in Sommerset County, NJ. They had Five children: Jonathan, Mary, Sarah, Samuel and David.

In 1837 her son John moved her and his Family to Victor Township, Clinton County Michigan in 1837. They settling on 80 acre farm in Victor Twp; Clinton Co, MI. Later the road they lived on was Parker Road.

She was the first death in the Township followed shortly by her daughter Martha and they were buried on John Parkers farm. D.D. Cotes dug the grave and D.H. Blood delivered a prayer as the only funeral service, a minister being not readily obtainable. (Page 510, from A.I. Parker papers.
