A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Everett Vernon Beaver & Lillian Short Beaver. Mr. Beaver worked at Dover Mill And J&C Dying. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Clark and a brother, Larry Beaver.
He is survived by three sisters, Geraldine Melton and husband Don of Mooresboro, Judy Hamlett And husband Gerald of Shelby and Kathy McCraw and husband Bryan of Shelby; one brother, Jerry Beaver and wife Nancy of Shelby; and his constant companion, his dog Rex.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Cleveland Funeral Services. The family headquarters is at 2211 Rehobeth Ch. Rd. Shelby NC 28150
