A memorial service for longtime Maud resident Mary Ann Azlin is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Maud with Rev. Tim Harjo officiating.
Services are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 3, Sunday, Feb. 4 and Monday, Feb. 5 until noon.
Mary Ann Azlin passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 in Shawnee at the age of 69.
She was born July 31, 1937 in Maud to Dewey Belton and Effie Elizabeth (Shelton) Silas.
She married Gene Azlin in Wewoka in March of 1965 and she was a retired cook for Maud Schools, where she worked for over 30 years.
She loved to read, cook and watch her grandkids play sports. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving is her husband, Gene of the home; one son, Jimmy Wayne Hanks of Ponca City; three daughters, Terri Colvin of Shawnee; Vicki Hanks of Maud and Linda Azlin of Maud; eight grandchildren, Billy Colvin, Jimmy Hanks Jr., Jacob Vloedman, Chris Colvin, Terra Vloedman, Jessica Farani, Eddie Hanks and Garon Nelson.
She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Kyla, Chandler and Landon Colvin, Michael, Hanna and Isabella Hanks, Aden and Heaven Bond and Bryler Lewis.
