Mrs. Marie Vaughn, age 97 of Wingo, Ky passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Mills Health & Rehab Facility.

She was a member of the Water Valley Baptist Church, and had worked at the former H.I.S. Clothing Factory in Fulton, Ky.

Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her two daughters- Janice Hester of Farmington, Ky and Brenda (Ken) Hale of Wingo, Ky; son- David (Nancy) Vaughn of Wingo, Ky; sixteen grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband- Rev. Herman Vaughn; two sons- Dennis A. Vaughn and George R. Vaughn; daughter- Pat Mozitis; one sister; five brothers; son-in-law- Bobby Hester; parents- Coleman & Etta Burnham Jackson.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 12:00 NOON at the Water Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Howard Copeland and Rev. Tommy Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Water Valley Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Water Valley Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be: Aaron Hale, Scott Vaughn, Randy Ruppert, John Flowers, Daniel Turner, Barry Turner, and Jordan Vaughn.

The Brown Funeral Home in Wingo, Ky is in charge of the arrangements.
