George Shelton, aged citizen of Wild Cherry, died at his home at that place, Thursday, Dec 31, 1936, following a long illness.
He was 74 years of age and had been a resident of Wild Cherry the greater part of his life. He was in the mercantile business for many years, continuing in business until his death.
He is survived by two sons and three daughters. One son, Garland resides in Calico Rock. Mrs Shelton's death occurred five years ago.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon, services being conducted by Eld. D. A. Hively of this place; burial was in Wild Cherry cemetery.
