Winona passed away Wednesday peacefully at home with her three daughters and one niece at her bedside. Born in Salt Lake City to Edward Wells and Jessie Miller.
She was an avid sports fan and loved the outdoors-fishing, bowling, golfing, boating, the Jazz and the University of Utah. (Go Utes!)
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Clara; brother, Kenneth; her husband, Lester Emarine; daughter, Marlene; and grandson, Richard. She is survived by children, Barbara (Jim) Elkins, Geraldine Blakely, Robert (Karen) Belcher, Debra (Willy) Merrill and Edward (Teine) Belcher; 19 grandchildren; and multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Murray City Cemetery, 5600 S. Vine Street. A viewing for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State Street. Online condolences may be shared at www.jenkins-soffe.com
