Fanny Coombs Harper
Fanny Coombs Harper, 83, widow of John C. Harper, Colonia Juarez, Mexico, died Tuesday at the home of a sister, Mrs. Esther C. Thomson, San Francisco, of causes incident to age.
Born in Payson Oct. 19, 1863, she was a daughter of Isaiah M. and Fanny McLean Coombs. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she had lived in Mexico for 60 years and had held open house for all authorities of the Church that visited the vicinity.
She is survived by three brothers and two sisters, Arthur F. Coombs, Dryden R. Coombs, both of Salt Lake; David L. Coombs, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Hattie Atherly, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Esther Thomson, San Francisco.
Interment will be in Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements will be announced from 36 East Seventh South St.
