       Thomas Services Set Wednesday

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Thomas, 82, 107 Frontier St., will be held at the Calfee Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The Rev. A. H. Wilson will conduct final rites, and burial will be made in the Calfee Cemetery at Mount Tabor.

Mrs. Thomas died at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Harold Crotty, Dry Hill, at 8:20 p.m. Monday.

She was born Sept. 21, 1873, the daughter of Harvey and Mary Fox Gwinn.

She had been a resident of Raleigh County for 50 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Also Mrs. Thomas belonged to the Golden Gate Rebecca Lodge of Mabscott.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Harry Wallace of Beckley and Mrs. C. S. Bodimer of Huntington; one son, Basil G. Thomas of Beckley; eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. K. M. Walker of Beckley and Mrs. Ora Martin of Crickmer and four brothers, Beecher Gwinn of Stanaford, Jason E. Gwinn of Tuscon, Ariz., Howard Gwinn of Meadow Bridge, and Henry Gwinn of Lockridge.

Pallbearers will be M. H. Gwinn, Harold Gwinn, L. A. Goins, W. A. Mitchem, Wilbur Alderman, and Orlo Gwinn.
