Helen Marjorie Gandee, 86, of Clendenin passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Hubbard Hospice House West at Thomas Hospital South Charleston after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Lena Rucker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Delbert, Donald and Elliott Rucker; sister, Wanda Estep.

Helen was a member of the Clendenin Advent Christian Church. She was the owner and operator of Helen's Antiques, Elkview.

She is survived by husband, Gene T. Gandee of Clendenin; sons, Thomas Gandee of Edenton, N.C., Gregory Gandee of Alexandria, Va., and J. D. Gandee of Clendenin; daughter, Gina Gandee Stickley of Petersburg, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at the Clendenin Advent Christian Church Clendenin, with Pastor Mike Todorovich and Pastor Nahum Balser officiating. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park Big Chimney.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Matics Funeral Home Clendenin.
