Mrs. James D. Freeman died Thursday at her home in Auburn from cancer of the stomach.
She was sixty-three years old and was born in Clinton county, O., to Jacob and Debra Turner.
She was married to J. E. Beugnot in 1876 and he died in 1893. She afterward married Mr. Freeman and besides the husband there are surviving three children, Mrs. C. E. Speer and Mrs. H. L. Richardson, of Los Angeles, and James E. Freeman, of Auburn.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Methodist church.
