Died, October 14th, 1846, at his father's residence, Elbert Co., Ga., Angus M. Gordon, aged about 21 years. … He had returned only a short time from Kentucky (where he had spent two years in studies under the direction of his brothers, Revs. G. and N. M. Gordon) and made arrangements to repair to Erskine College at the commencement of the session in November following, with the expectation of entering the sophomore class. …while enjoying for a time, the society of his relatives and friends, he was taken with bilious fever.
