Henry Franklin Gaskins, 68, of Ray City, passed away on Jan. 18, 2007, in Clinch Health Care after a brief illness. He was born on Sept. 3, 1938, in Berrien County to the late Leland Key and Louelle (Bennett) Gaskins. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Gaskins and Jimmy Gaskins.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Liz Gaskins of Nashville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. this evening, Jan. 19, 2007, in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services. The family will receive friends following the service until 8 p.m. As per his wishes he will be cremated and interred in the family plot in Beaver Dam Cemetery at a later date. The Music Funeral Services of Lakeland is serving the Gaskins family.
