GRIGGS, LISA D., LCSW, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Jewish Hospital. She was born June 3, 1971 in Nashville, TN. Lisa was a director at Our Lady of Peace Hospital until illness prohibited her from working. She was a member of Greater St. Mark Baptist Church and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Rexye Allen Greenfield. Lisa leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Darren L. Griggs; son, Darren Allen (7); daughter, Darian Rexye (4); mother, Esther Mae Greenfield; father, William R. Greenfield (Carsella); stepmother, Gayle Houston (Sam); sisters, Theresa Strachan and Kimberly Drake; brothers, Michael Yarbrough (Angeline); Steve Reed (Dana) and Jason Greenfield (Cassandra; grandmother, Jennie Mae Easley; grandfathers, William Greenfield and Leon Easley; best friend, Deondra Wardelle; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater St. Mark 1425 Bland St. Burial to follow in Louisville Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the church. G.C.
