Violet Muench O'Connor
Violet Muench O'Connor died Oct. 5, 2009, at her home in Washougal. She was 87.
She was born Dec. 8, 1921. in McIntosh, S.D., to Otto and Nellie Muench. Violet ws formerly from Portland, Ore., and Stevenson, Wash., before she moved to Washougal. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Camas, and member of the Fraternal OArder of Eagles #1744 in Stevenson. An avid reader, Violet also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, traveling, going on cruises, and playing cribbage. Most importantly, Violet enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Pat (Lynn) O'Connor; six grandsons, two granddaughters, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Willard J. O'Connor in 1991, and sons, Robert E. O'Connor in 2004 and Timothy K. O'Connor in 2004
A graveside service will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
