The funeral of ex-Patrolman, George W. Biltmire, who committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol on Thursday last, took place from his late residence, 121 South Bond street, yesterday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. J. A. McDowell, of Broadway Methodist Episcopal Church, assisted by Rev. W. G. Herbert, of Caroline Street Methodist Episcopal Church. Four members from the Shield of Honor and four from Wells and McComas Council, Junior Order American Mechanics, served as pallbearers. Interment was made in Baltimore Cemetery. Evans & Spence had charge of the funeral.
