Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Peachtree City, Ga.
Helen Ruth Klockner was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Moline. She married Ira Whipple on Jan. 8, 1943.
Helen was a 1941 graduate of Moline High School and was a former member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline.
Survivors include her children, Sandy (Wayne) Martens, Fayetteville, Carol (Steve) Kelemen, Rock Falls, Ill., and John (Sue) Whipple, The Villages, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira; and a son, Steve Whipple.
