"J. B. GUNNETT, CIVIL WAR VET, DIED YESTERDAY
Thomas Bennett Gunnett, well known resident of Greensburg and a civil war veteran, died at his home, 222 Brushton avenue, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Mr. Gunnett was a member of the Captain George A. Cribbs Post, G.A.R. and served with Company H, 101st Pennsylvania Volunteers and saw three years service. He came here from Pittsburgh about 40 years ago.
Mr. Gunnett was a carpenter and worked at his trade during that time until recent months. About three years ago he fell on the ice and received a broken leg which left him crippled. About a year ago he was struck by an automobile at the corner of Main and Otterman streets. His injuries at that time were not considered serious but he had been declining since.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Lohr and Miss India Gunnett and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late home. Interment will follow in the St. Clair cemetery."
