E. T. GAMST, 65, DIES ON HIS BIRTHDAY
Ernest T. Gamst, a retired Westvaco employee, died Thursday on his 65th birthday. His wife, Mrs. Rebecca Gamst, 61, died January 24.
Mr. Gamst, who had been ill several months, lived at 3 Park Drive. Since his wife's death, he had been living at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frederick F. Edele of 1007 East Village Drive, South Charleston. He died there.
He was a member of Rock Lake Village Presbyterian Church and he was a charter member of the South Charleston Masonic Lodge.
Surviving besides his daughter are three sisters, Mrs. R. E. Williams of Buffalo, New York, Mrs. James Jenson of Eugene, Oregon, and Mrs. J. S. Hoynosh of Tampa, Florida.
Service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Wilson Funeral Home. Dr. Dorsey D. Ellis will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park at South Charleston.
The body is at the funeral home.
