Harold Bliss
Harold L. "Jack" Bliss, 84, 1665 W. Elm St., died at 9:45
p.m. Friday, Dec. 27.1991,
at Sycamore Village
Health Care Center.
He was born March 15, 1907, in
Bevay, a son of George and
Elizabeth (Simmons) Bliss. In
1939, he married Ruth Goble, who
died in 1974. Jan. 6. 1978, he married
R. Oneta Baker, who survives.
Also surviving is one daughter,
Patricia Neal of Indianapolis; two
stepsons, Melvin Blackburn of
Monticello and Floyd Blackburn of
Lafayette; 19 grandchildren; nine
Seat-grandchildren; and one
If-brother, Orville Bliss of Indianapolis.
Bliss retired in 1974 from Delco
Electronics, where he worked for
27 years as an electrician. He was
a member of American Legion
Post 6 and UAW Local 292. He was
an army veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary. The
Rev. Paul Enochs will officiate.
There will be a 1:30 p.m.
graveside service at Paul's Chapel
Cemetery in Francesville.
Friends may call Monday from
4 to 8 p.m. at Ellers Mortuary.
