Juan Tomas Christian died of cancer Oct. 26, 2009, at his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born Sept. 9, 1948 in Cintalapa, Mexico. He was a former teacher in the Battle Ground School District for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia at home; children, Stacy Bissell, Randy Robbins and Amanda Richards; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. at Prairie High School. Brown's Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Camas is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial donations can be made to a local hospice chapter.
