Italian sailor. Martyr of the Fosse Ardeatine massacre. He was arrested by the Nazi SS, guilty of being an affiliate to 'Bandiera Rossa' of the Italian communist movement . On 24 March 1944 he was taken by the Nazi police along with 300 other political prisoners from the prison of Via Tasso and Regina Coeli. Destination: Cave Ardeatine. Arrived on trucks in groups of 70, the prisoners were killed under the command of Herbert Kappler.
