Life long Martinez resident Rose Enea passed away on Sunday at the age of 91. Rose was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church and the Legion of Mary. She retired from the Martinez Food Cannery, after more then 30 years of service. She enjoyed her visits to their cabin in Lake Tahoe in her early years and her trips to Hawaii. Rose is survived by her beloved brother Dominic S. DiMaggio of Pittsburg, CA. Rose is preceded in death by her loving husband Frank P. Enea, who passed away in 1981, and also by her brothers & sisters Nellie DiMaggio, Sadie Costanza Viglienzone, Mae Russo, Mary Billecci, Tom DiMaggio, Sal 'Chucky' DiMaggio and Mike DiMaggio. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 14, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Martinez. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 3-8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 6:30 P.M. at Connolly & Taylor Chapel in Martinez. Interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette, CA. Donations can be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church 1125 Ferry Street, Martinez, CA 94553.
