Amos Lilly, a farmer who lived about eight miles northwest of town, died Wednesday night in Newman Memorial County Hospital.
Amos Lilly was born October 11, 1862, in Stanberry, Missouri and came to Kansas in 1885. He is survived by Mrs. Lilly and six children: Mrs. Corda Williams, Miss Lora Lilly and Mrs. Ruby Taylor, of Los Angeles, Calif.; Larkin Lilly, who lives near Emporia; Everett Lilly, of Council Grove; and Alva Lilly, of Fresno, Calif. Four sisters and four brothers also survive him.
