INJURIES FATAL TO CRASH VICTIM

COULEE DAM, Wash., Dec. 20 - J. Garold McKim, 34, who has lain unconscious in the Coulee Dam Community Hospital since December 14, died Sunday morning as a result of injuries sustained last Tuesday morning when his car overturned and threw him to the highway west of Electric City.

The accident occurred when McKim was driving from the home of friends in Electric City to his residence in Osborne.

McKim is survived by his widow, Myrtle E. McKim and three children.

Considerable damage was done to two cars Sunday morning when autos driven by Michael W. Tipton of East Coulee Dam and John J. Larson of Grand Coulee crashed at the intersection east of the highway bridge in Coulee Dam. According to Floyd Hanson of the state patrol at Coulee Dam, both cars were evidently driving too near the center line on the highway and their left front wheels locked.

Tipton as given first aid treatment at the Coulee Dam community hospital for minor cuts. Mrs. Tipton, who was with her husband and Larson did not need a doctor's attention
