Mrs. Harry (Ellen) Wenzel, 82, of 533 Menasha St., Reedsville, died Friday
afternoon in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 2 p.m.
Monday at United Methodist Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Dale Kelm will officiate
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Reedsville.
Mrs. Wenzel, nee Ellen Benson was born February 23, 1896 in Stevens Point,
daughter of the late Peter and Tena Sword Benson. She was married to Harry
Wenzel November 20, 1926 in Evangelical Concordia Church, Milwaukee. Mrs.
Wenzel was a member of United Methodist Church Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert of Houston, Tex.; two daughters,
Mrs. Edward Vernaye Gibbs of Alamo, Calif., and Mrs. Victor (Carol) Krueger of
Reedsville; two sisters, Ruth Wunch and Lorraine Benson of Menomonee Falls;
nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Two brothers and three
sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Reedsville Funeral Home, Reedsville, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday
and in the church from 9 a.m. Monday until the time of service.
