Notes from Reedsville:
Mrs. Ella Meisner, wife of Postmaster Charles Meisner, died Friday
morning. She
had been ill for some time but her condition did not grow alarming until
a week
ago when the ailment became acute and death resulted Friday.
She was born at Port Washington, Sept. 10, 1883. She was a daughter of
Rev. and
Mrs. George Reichert. She was married at Clintonville in 1904 to Charles
Meisner
and in 1911 the family moved to Reedsville where they have since made
their home.
Surviving are the husband, one son, Carl, who is a senior in high school; a
daughter, Harriet, her father, Rev. George Reichert of Augusta; two
sisters, Mrs.
Arnold Rusch of Reedsville and Miss Lillian Reichert of Augusta and a
brother,
George Reichert of Milwaukee. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from
the
Evangelical Church, Rev. George Reichert officiating.
