William P. Krebs Sr., 79 of 529 Western Ave., Sheboygan Falls, died suddenly at his home early this morning following an apparent heart attack.
He was born Feb. 29, 1908, in Berlin, Germany the son of the late Paul and Emily Fischer Krebs. He came to this country in his youth.
He resided in Reedsville and on June 19, 1936 he married the former Adeline Otto of Reedsville. The couple became Sheboygan Falls residents in 1941.
He was employed at the Kohler Co. for 36 years, until his retirement in 1970.
He was a member of the Fountain Park United Methodist Church, St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 24 F & A.M. Sheboygan Falls and the Kohler Quarter Century Club.
Survivors are his wife, one son, William Jr. of Brown Deer and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a brother.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Fountain Park United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ray Kotwicki, the pastor, will officiate. Cremation will take place. Friends may call at the church on Thursday at the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
