William Becker, 77, formerly of Reedsville, died Wednesday evening at the St. Elizabeth hospital at Appleton.
Mr. Becker was born in 1873 in Rockland. In 1919 he married the former Adella Reinke Rusch, who preceded him in death. After his retirement as a farmer, he moved to Reedsville where he lived until moving to Rantoul to live with his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Lau.
Survivors, besides Mrs. Lau, are another daughter, Mrs. Alfred Klann of Rockland; three sisters, Mrs. Gottlieb Gannigan of Peshtigo, Mrs. William Busse and Mrs. William Luedtke of Reedsville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Reedsville Co-operative funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Rockland, Rev. Kenneth Knoespel officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. Friday until time of services. The casket will not be opened in church.
