Patrick H. Johnston of 641 N.E. 2nd Place, Hialeah, Florida and formerly of 1413 16th Avenue, died at 3:35 a.m. today in a Hialeah hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Scotland May 25, 1882, and resided in Florida approximately 10 years following his retirement from the P.R.R. in 1949. Prior to coming to Altoona he was employed as a mine foreman at Grampian. Surviving are his wife the former Agnes C. Keenan, four children Francis P. and Mrs. Josephine M. Mason of Hialeah, Miss Agnes T. at home, and two grandchildren. Mr. Johnston was formerly a member of the Cathedral parish. Interment will be made in Hialeah.

45th Anniversary Quietly Observed
Mr. and Mrs. Patrick H. Johnston of 1413 16th Avenue observed their 45th wedding anniversary on Wednesday January 3. No special celebration was held due to Mr. Johnston's illness.
Patrick H. Johnston and Agnes C. Keenan were united in marriage January 3, 1906 in St. Boneventure's Catholic Church, Grampian, Clearfield County by Rev. Father John Joseph Fox.
The union was blessed with seven children of which the following four survive: Francis Patrick of Miami, Florida, Cyril E. Of Washington, D.C., Josephine M. Mason of this city and Agnes T. At home. They have one grandchild, Joyce Ann Johnston of Washington, D.C.
Mr. Johnston, a former mine foreman, has been employed for the past 25 years at the eastbound repair tracks of the Middle division, Pennsylvania Railroad company. Both he and his wife are members of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
On their anniversary day the couple received the congratulations of many relatives and friends and enjoyed a visit with their son Cyril and his family from Washington, D.C.
