Melissa L. Christy age 37, of Hilliards, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 23, 2011 at 8:38 p.m. in the ER at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1973 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Jerald Thomas and Beverly Jaecke.
Melissa was Lutheran by faith. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. Melissa loves Mickey Mouse and going to Disney World. She worked at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Cabot, PA as a Nurses Aid.
Melissa is survived by her husband Jeffrey J. Christy whom she married on July 28, 1995; two sons Daniel Christy and Shane Christy; two brothers, Michael Tambellini and William Clary both of Pittsburgh, PA; one sister, Karin Murray of Rochester, PA, two nieces, Katlyn Demko and Kimberly Christy; five nephews, Keith Clary, Jordon Demko, Matthew Clary, Alan Christy and Raymond Christy.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home Inc., 124 East North St. Butler, PA, with Pastor Robert C. Huber, North Street Christian Church officiating.
Burial will take place in the Rosewood Cemetery in Ridgeville, PA.
