FLOYDADA - Funeral services for Anne Fay Smith, 89, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wendell Horn, pastor, and Brent Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in Floydada Cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Lubbock.
She was born Jan. 29, 1910, in Lewisville, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Lou Anna Honea McNeill. She moved with her family from Lewisville to Floydada in 1926. She attended schools in Denton and graduated from Floydada High School. She attended North Texas State University and graduated from Texas Tech University.
She was a school teacher and a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.
On May 2, 1937, she married Ray H. Smith in Floydada. He died Nov. 2, 1994.
Survivors include one son, Billy Ray Smith of Seminole; one daughter, Barbara Bullock of Lubbock; four grandchildren, Brad Bullock, Brent Bullock, Sheryl Stephens and Becky Duncan; and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Church, 203 W. Kentucky, Floydada, TX 79235.
