Audrey M. Smith Rice, age 76, of Dellslow, West Virginia, and formerly of Point Marion, Pa., died Friday, October 8, 2004, in Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
Born July 8, 1928, in Smithfield, Pa., she was a daughter of Daniel and Ernestine (Pyle) Smith.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Morgantown and The Daughters of the American Revolution.
Audrey very much enjoyed reading and writing poetry and was an active member of the Morgantown Poetry Society and the West Virginia Poetry Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren M. Rice on May 31, 1999, a brother, Donald Smith, a sister, Lois Staub, and parents.
