Harold M. "Gramps" Davis, 88 of Tonganoxie died Saturday at the Leavenworth Veterans Administration Hospital.
He was born Dec. 1, 1895, in Griswold, Iowa. He was a retired farmer and dairyman who had farmed in the Mayetta and Valley Falls area. He moved to Tonganoxie in 1960. He was an Army veteran of World War I and was a member of the American Legion post of Tonganoxie. Survivors include three daughters, a sister, 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Quisenberry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements; burial was in Hubbel Hill Cemetery.
