Barry Lee Crombie, 52, of Simpsonville died at his home on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 with his wife by his side.
He was a member of Point Pleasant Christian Church, and a 1978 graduate of Shelby County High School. He was a machine operator with AMCOR for 24 1/2 years. He loved working on old cars and raised a tobacco crop to earn money to buy his first car. He loved family get togethers and family camping trips.
He was married in 1979 to Tamryn R. Burgin from whom he was divorced in 1981 and remarried in 2008 and on July 15, 2012 renewed their wedding vows at the Simpsonville Baptist Church. Besides his wife, Tamryn he is also survived by his daughter, Tabatha Wilms, Simpsonville; parents, Adriel "Sonny" and Emma Lou Sutherland Crombie, Simpsonville; granddaughter, Hallie Crombie, Simpsonville; Stepsons, Noah Glaser and Alexander Glaser, Cincinnati, OH.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Boyd officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 P. M. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
